Common Questions

Here are some common questions asked by prospective clients:

Are you accepting new clients?

Currently I have availability for a few new clients. But this is always changing, so please check with me.

How long is each appointment?

Sessions are 50 to 55 minutes.

How often will you see me?

I meet with most clients weekly. I see some clients twice a week.

Do you see people in person or virtually?

Currently I am accepting virtual clients only, either with tele-therapy or telephone.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept payment through Zelle and PayPal, if neither of those methods work for you, we can try to find an alternative.

What insurance plans to you take?

At this time, I do not accept insurance, however reimbursement with some policies may still be possible. I will be happy to provide a detailed monthly bill for presentation to insurance providers.

How do I make an appointment?

Before making a first appointment, I like to talk to each prospective client, to explore whether we are a good fit. That is why I offer a 20 minute free phone consultation. I can answer any questions, and we can start to get to know each other. The best way to schedule a phone consultation is to email me at helene.greece@gmail.com. I can also be reached by phone at 929-470-3104. Please note that my phone does not accept texts.

What is your fee?

Please reach out to me regarding the details of my fees. When someone is able and willing to pay my full rate, they are serving another by allowing me to see people who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford the service. I am deeply grateful for that and offer sliding scale services when I can.

Can I cancel or change my appointment time?

I understand that sometimes the unexpected happens and someone might need to cancel or change a scheduled appointment, and I try to be flexible in that regard. My policy is that cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice and no-shows are billed at the full session fee.  Insurance will not pay for canceled sessions.
